1519 WHEREAS, the Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services is an organization dedicated to providing support and funding to benefit the animals and programs overseen by Loudoun County Animal Services; and

1721 WHEREAS, the Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services (FLCAS) improves the quality of life for animals awaiting adoption at Loudoun County Animal Services by facilitating veterinary services, behavioral support, and other enrichment opportunities; and

1923 WHEREAS, the FLCAS generously assists pet owners in need by offering funding that enables low-cost spay and neuter programs, as well as low-cost microchip and vaccination clinics; and

2125 WHEREAS, signature programs of the FLCAS include Helping Hands, which provides animals with extra medical attention, We Are Family, which aims to keep animals in the same family together, and White Whiskers, which delivers care specifically for senior animals; and

2327 WHEREAS, through the organization's unwavering commitment to aiding and finding a home for all animals awaiting adoption, the FLCAS has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Loudoun County community; now, therefore, be it

2529 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend the Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services for its efforts to support Loudoun County Animal Services and to promote animal welfare throughout the region; and, be it

2731 RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for the organization's contributions to Loudoun County and the Commonwealth.
