1519 WHEREAS, Todd Biller, a citizen of Harrisonburg and a longtime member of the Department of Corrections who has greatly served the Commonwealth for more than 33 years, retired on July 1, 2024; and

17-WHEREAS, in the beginning of his career, Todd Biller devoted more than 12 years to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, promoting the growth and development of the Commonwealth; and

1923 WHEREAS, Todd Biller subsequently served with the Department of Corrections as a corrections officer for nearly 21 years, ensuring the safe and responsible operation of the Commonwealth's correctional facilities, primarily at the Community Corrections Alternative Program facility in Linville, as well as at Augusta Correctional Center; and

2125 WHEREAS, over his first 18 years with the Department of Corrections, Todd Biller demonstrated remarkable fortitude and commitment to his work by never taking a sick day or time off; and

2327 WHEREAS, with great resolve and determination, Todd Biller often worked long hours, overtime, and additional shifts to support the Department of Corrections' mission; and

2529 WHEREAS, Todd Biller was unwavering in his dedication to the Commonwealth over his 33-year career, earning the respect and admiration of all Virginians; now, therefore, be it

2731 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Todd Biller for his exemplary record of reliable state service on the occasion of his retirement; and, be it

2933 RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Todd Biller as an expression of the General Assembly's appreciation for his contributions to the Commonwealth and best wishes for his well-deserved retirement.
