1519 WHEREAS, Robert Smith Quinn, Jr., a dedicated employee of the Commonwealth and a beloved member of the Danville and Richmond communities, died on December 5, 2024; and

1721 WHEREAS, born in Richmond, Robert Quinn began his service with the Commonwealth as a clerk in the Legislative Bill Room at the General Assembly from 1987 to 1998 and concluded his career at the Department of General Services, where he worked from 1998 until his retirement in 2018; and

19-WHEREAS, over his 31 years as a state employee, Robert Quinn worked tirelessly to faithfully execute his responsibilities for the good of the Commonwealth and its citizens; and

2933 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Robert Smith Quinn, Jr., a treasured member of the Danville and Richmond communities whose light brightened countless lives; and, be it
