HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 508
Commending Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, January 27, 2025
WHEREAS, for 18 years, Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare has provided outstanding daycare, training, and boarding services to dog owners in Virginia Beach; and
WHEREAS, Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare was established in 2007 by Maryanne Grado and Nicole Sincavage, who were reluctant to leave their dogs in a traditional boarding facility and were inspired to open a daycare with a pleasant, home-like environment that would create peace of mind for local dog owners; and
WHEREAS, Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare offers daycare groups for dogs of every size, temperament, and activity level with multiple spaces for these unique groups at its 15,000-square-foot facility; and
WHEREAS, Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare maintains areas for full group play, small group play, limited group play, or private care, and its staff members are well trained to understand body language and other cues to ensure that every dog has the best possible experience; and
WHEREAS, in addition to its daycare services, Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare offers an attentive, comfortable boarding program with private suites where dogs can eat and relax; staff members are on site 24/7 to ensure every dog is safe and cared for at all times; and
WHEREAS, Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare also offers a day school program to help dogs develop social skills, improve obedience and impulse control through training, or exercise with staff members or small groups; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare hereby be commended for 18 years of service to the residents of Virginia Beach and their pets; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Cosmo's Corner Doggie Daycare as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for its contributions to the community as a locally owned business.
