| 17 | 23 | | WHEREAS, as a local businessman and philanthropist, William Goodman gave generously to the Suffolk community through outreach activities such as Christmas giveaways and back-to-school drives, his regular participation at John F. Kennedy Middle School's annual career day, and discounts for customers in need; and |

| 19 | 25 | | WHEREAS, William Goodman was committed to creating opportunities to empower individuals who had been recently incarcerated, helping them to achieve stability and success in their lives; and |
