Commending Tin Cannon Brewing Company.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 10, 2025
WHEREAS, Tin Cannon Brewing Company, a beloved purveyor of various ales, stouts, and lagers in Gainesville, celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024; and
WHEREAS, Tin Cannon Brewing Company was founded by Aaron Ludwig and John Hilkert, whose shared passion for homebrewing inspired a partnership that grew over time into a professional, commercial brewery; and
WHEREAS, Tin Cannon Brewing Company takes its name from both the tin cans that were used in the past for packaging beer and the Civil War heritage that imbues the Gainesville area; and
WHEREAS, Tin Cannon Brewing Company's roster of beers includes cherished staples like its Virginia Blonde Ale and Revenge of the Zyth India Pale Ale, as well as a steady rotation of other seasonal and experimental offerings; and
WHEREAS, Tin Cannon Brewing Company's products reflect the brewery's unwavering commitment to quality, fresh ingredients, and its intrepid willingness to experiment; and
WHEREAS, by providing the community with world-class beer and a friendly, convivial place to gather, Tin Cannon Brewing Company has helped to make Gainesville a wonderful place to live, work, and play; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Tin Cannon Brewing Company hereby be commended on the occasion of its 10th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Tin Cannon Brewing Company as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the company's success and best wishes for its future endeavors.
