1319 WHEREAS, Annamarie Bollino, Ph.D., supervisor of the arts for Prince William County Public Schools, was presented an Outstanding Administrator Award by the Virginia Music Educators Association in 2024; and

1521 WHEREAS, Annamarie Bollino prepared for her career in arts education at George Mason University, where she earned a master's degree and doctoral degree in music education; and

1723 WHEREAS, as supervisor of the arts, Annamarie Bollino guides and collaborates with arts educators across Prince William County Public Schools to help them make a greater impact in their students' lives; and

1925 WHEREAS, Annamarie Bollino has demonstrated a deep commitment to creating learning environments that encourage innovation, spark creativity, and inspire expression, enabling countless student-artists to thrive; and

2127 WHEREAS, Annamarie Bollino has been an arts education leader on the state and national level, including as the president of the Virginia Music Educators Association, president-elect of the Southern Division of the National Association for Musical Education (NAfME), and chair of the NAfME Music Program Leaders Council; and

2329 WHEREAS, prior to joining Prince William County Public Schools, Annamarie Bollino devoted 20 years to Stafford County Public Schools as a music educator, building administrator, and coordinator of visual and performing arts; and

2531 WHEREAS, Annamarie Bollino has advanced arts education in the Commonwealth by serving on state arts standards writing committees, as a grant panelist for several agencies, and as a member of the Virginia Coalition for Fine Arts Education, where she is spearheading the state's participation in the Arts Education Data Project; and

2733 WHEREAS, Annamarie Bollino's success as an arts education administrator is a result of her ability to motivate her teachers and students, make them feel valued, and empower them to achieve their full potential; now, therefore, be it

2935 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Annamarie Bollino, Ph.D., hereby be commended for receiving a 2024 Outstanding Administrator Award from the Virginia Music Educators Association; and, be it

3137 RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Annamarie Bollino, Ph.D., as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her contributions to arts education in the Commonwealth.
