HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 632
Commending Bay Local Eatery.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 17, 2025
WHEREAS, Bay Local Eatery is a beloved local chain of restaurants that has provided the Virginia Beach community with exceptional culinary experiences for several years; and
WHEREAS, at its three locations throughout Virginia Beach, Bay Local Eatery serves up its take on coastal Southern cuisine, using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients to offer its customers high-quality meals that are both healthy and satisfying; and
WHEREAS, the husband and wife ownership team of Bay Local Eatery, Adrian and Whitney Colaprete, have cultivated close relationships with many local fishermen and chefs during their time living along the bay, which have proven vital to the growth and success of their company over the years; and
WHEREAS, with vintage and rustic decor and thoughtful lighting throughout, the Bay Local Eatery locations offer a warm and welcoming space for loved ones and friends to gather and share a meal; and
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Bay Local Eatery are a testament to the visionary leadership of its owners, the tireless efforts of its staff, and the generous support of the Virginia Beach community; and
WHEREAS, Bay Local Eatery's dedication to quality and service has helped to make Virginia Beach a wonderful place to live, work, and eat; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Bay Local Eatery hereby be commended for its impact on the culinary landscape and community of Virginia Beach; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Bay Local Eatery as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for its contributions to Virginia Beach and the Commonwealth.
