HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 639
Commending Captain George's Seafood Restaurant.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 17, 2025
WHEREAS, Captain George's Seafood Restaurant has provided delicious fresh seafood to local residents and visitors to Virginia Beach since 1982; and
WHEREAS, Captain George's is well known for its sumptuous buffet featuring more than 70 items, including snow crab legs and fresh, steamed shrimp every day; and
WHEREAS, with seating for more than 900 guests, Captain George's is a focal point for the community and offers event spaces for every occasion and group size; and
WHEREAS, in addition to its headquarters and flagship location in Virginia Beach, Captain George's has opened locations in Williamsburg, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Captain George's Seafood Restaurant hereby be commended for its contributions to the Virginia Beach community; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Captain George's Seafood Restaurant as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for its contributions to the vibrant local economy.
