2025 SESSION ENROLLED HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 644 Commending Lemon Cabana. Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 17, 2025 WHEREAS, Lemon Cabana, a women's clothing and lifestyle boutique located near the oceanfront in Virginia Beach, has brought joy to countless customers over nearly two decades in business; and WHEREAS, Lemon Cabana was founded on June 22, 2007, by Julie Fancher Deese, who was motivated by the untimely death of her brother to realize her lifelong dream of owning and operating a clothing boutique; and WHEREAS, Lemon Cabana offers its customers an exciting array of women's fashion, gifts, and home accessories, employing a signature style that is inspired by both Virginia Beach's relaxed, coastal culture and its upscale sophistication; and WHEREAS, Lemon Cabana has created a unique, one-of-a-kind shopping experience for its customers by stocking its shelves with a hand-picked and carefully curated collection of products; and WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Lemon Cabana are a testament to the visionary leadership of its owner, the tireless efforts of its staff, and the generous support of the Virginia Beach community; and WHEREAS, through its dedication to excellence and exemplary service, Lemon Cabana has helped to make Virginia Beach a wonderful place to live, work, and shop; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Lemon Cabana hereby be commended for its impact on the Virginia Beach community; and, be it RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Lemon Cabana as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for its contributions to Virginia Beach and the Commonwealth.
