HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 767
Commending Spring Valley Farms.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 18, 2025
WHEREAS, Spring Valley Farms, a horse farm and organization in Moneta dedicated to sharing horses with the people who love them, celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2025; and
WHEREAS, Spring Valley Farms was established in 1980 and has developed into a 600-acre multi-purpose equestrian facility that provides the public with trail rides, horseback riding lessons, camps for kids, birthday parties and other special events, cabin rentals, wagon rides, and more; and
WHEREAS, Spring Valley Farms strives to bring horses to those who would otherwise not have access to them, increasing their appreciation of both the animals and the Commonwealth's beautiful countryside; and
WHEREAS, Spring Valley Farms demonstrates the utmost compassion and concern in caring for its horses, from the moment they arrive at the farm, through their training, and in every activity and service they support; and
WHEREAS, Spring Valley Farms is committed to both progress and upholding the beloved equestrian traditions of the Commonwealth, earning the praise and admiration of all Virginians; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Spring Valley Farms hereby be commended on the occasion of its 45th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Spring Valley Farms as an expression of the House of Delegates' high regard for the farm's contributions to the Commonwealth.
