| 19 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Jones was a life member of the Brookneal Volunteer Fire Department who gave generously of his time for more than 40 years to promote the safety and well-being of others; in recognition of his service, he was elected president of the department, the first individual to hold that position in the department's history; and |

| 21 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Jones supported his community as a proud and dedicated member of Staunton River Masonic Lodge #155 of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; and |
