19 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Jones was a life member of the Brookneal Volunteer Fire Department who gave generously of his time for more than 40 years to promote the safety and well-being of others; in recognition of his service, he was elected president of the department, the first individual to hold that position in the department's history; and |

21 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Jones supported his community as a proud and dedicated member of Staunton River Masonic Lodge #155 of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; and |

25 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Jones was guided throughout his life by his faith and was a devoted member of Brookneal Presbyterian Church, where he enjoyed worship and fellowship with his community and served as an elder, deacon, and trustee; and |
