Commending Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 18, 2025
WHEREAS, Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse, an award-winning restaurant in Virginia Beach, has become a beloved local meeting place that is well known for its delicious meals and its commitment to community service; and
WHEREAS, in addition to its acclaimed menu, which features dishes made from the freshest locally sourced ingredients, Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse provides a welcoming atmosphere for friends and families to gather and build lasting memories; and
WHEREAS, Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse strives to give back to the community and enhance the quality of life throughout Virginia Beach by supporting charitable organizations and local schools; and
WHEREAS, Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse has earned numerous accolades, including a Travelers' Choice Award from Tripadvisor, a Diners' Choice award from OpenTable, and a Neighborhood Faves award from Nextdoor; it was also named as the Best Sports Bar in Virginia by Men's Health magazine and one of the top workplaces in Hampton Roads by Inside Business; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse hereby be commended for its service to the community of Virginia Beach; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for its contributions to the vibrant local economy.
