1319 WHEREAS, Stephanie Roble, an exceptional athlete with ties to the Commonwealth, has brought immense pride to both Virginia and the United States through her achievements in the sport of sailing; and

1521 WHEREAS, Stephanie Roble began her sailing journey at the age of five on a small lake in Wisconsin, but refined her skills at Old Dominion University (ODU), where she served as captain of the sailing team, earned two Most Valuable Player honors, was recognized as a two-time All-American, and completed a degree in finance; and

1723 WHEREAS, Stephanie Roble has distinguished herself as a world-class sailor, securing multiple national and international championships, earning the title of 2014 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year, and being inducted into the ODU Hall of Fame in 2021; and

1925 WHEREAS, Stephanie Roble has proudly represented Team USA on the world's biggest stage as a two-time Olympian in the 49erFX women's skiff class, competing in the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, earning medals at the Pan American Games, and achieving a world ranking of third; and
