1319 WHEREAS, Carylon Crouch Buck, an esteemed faith leader and beloved member of the Hampton Roads community, died on February 11, 2025; and

1521 WHEREAS, a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, Carylon Buck was born in Norfolk and spent her later years in Portsmouth and Chesapeake; and

1723 WHEREAS, guided throughout her life by her faith, Carylon Buck was a longtime member of Biltmore Baptist Church in Portsmouth, where she served in many ministries over the years; and

1925 WHEREAS, Carylon Buck devoted more than 40 years to supporting the ministry work of the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Tidewater, where she retired as missionary director in 2005; and

2127 WHEREAS, over her career, Carylon Buck demonstrated an extraordinary gift for preparing adults to become faith educators, helping countless children grow in their faith along their spiritual journeys; and

2329 WHEREAS, preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, G. Malone Buck, Jr., Carylon Buck will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Bonnie, Betsy, Barry, and Beverly, and their families and by numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

2531 RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Carylon Crouch Buck, a cherished member of the Hampton Roads community whose dedication and faith made an impact on countless lives; and, be it
