1519 WHEREAS, the extraordinary men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States have dedicated their lives to protecting the freedoms and values that define the nation, demonstrating remarkable bravery and commitment in the face of adversity; and

1721 WHEREAS, Virginia Beach is home to a large community of both active-duty service members and veterans; and

1923 WHEREAS, a significant number of these distinguished veterans have chosen to spend their senior years in Virginia Beach at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay, which provides a supportive and nurturing environment while honoring their service to the Commonwealth and the United States; and

2933 RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend veteran residents of Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach for their contributions to the local community, the Commonwealth, and the nation; and, be it
