17	21		WHEREAS, in his professional career, David Dillow found success working as a manager for multiple institutions, demonstrating an extraordinary ability to lead others; and

19	23		WHEREAS, David Dillow was an engaged and supportive member of the Bland County community and made a difference in countless lives through the various sporting organizations he established and maintained over the years; and

21	25		WHEREAS, David Dillow made a profound and lasting impact on his community as a member of the Bland County Economic Development Authority, which he was appointed to in 1984 and which he served as chair from 1990 until his death; and

23	27		WHEREAS, in his role with the Bland County Economic Development Authority, David Dillow was an integral part of multiple major economic development projects that bolstered the success and prosperity of the locality; and

25	29		WHEREAS, guided throughout his life by his faith, David Dillow attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Wytheville, where he enjoyed worship and fellowship with his community for many years; and

27	31		WHEREAS, preceded in death by his first wife, Doris, David Dillow will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his wife, Andrea; his children, David and Barry, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

29	33		RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of David Eugene Dillow, whose legacy of stewardship and service to Bland County inspired all who knew him; and, be it

31	35		RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of David Eugene Dillow as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
