1519 WHEREAS, Kathryn Ha of Salem High School and the Roanoke Valley Governor's School became the first person in Virginia High School League (VHSL) history to win both the co-ed VHSL individual state title and the Girls Open State Championship in the same season; she is a three-time VHSL Girls Open State Champion; and

1721 WHEREAS, Kathryn Ha won the 55th Virginia State Golf Association Junior Girls Championship at James River Country Club in Newport News on July 3, 2024; and

1923 WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) championship, Kathryn Ha was announced as the VSGA's first automatic qualifier for the United States Golf Association's U.S. Girls' Junior Championship, where she tied for 22nd place; and
