1919 It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont: 14
2020 Sec. 1. 10 V.S.A. § 700 is added to read: 15
2121 § 700. Common Interest Community Resource Center 16
2222 (a)(1) The Office of the Secretary of State shall establish and maintain the 17
2323 Common Interest Community Resource Center to provide information to the 18

2929 (2) The Secretary of State may contract with any nonprofit organization 1
3030 for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this section. 2
3131 (b) The Common Interest Community Resource Center shall: 3
3232 (1) assist the public in understanding and navigating issues related to 4
3333 common interest communities; 5
3434 (2) provide information, materials, and guides for the creation and 6
3535 administration of common interest communities, including matters related to 7
3636 organization, governance, budgeting, conflict resolution, transparency, and 8
3737 rights and responsibilities for homeowners and associations; and 9
3838 (3) ensure the information required by this subsection is made available 10
3939 online in a user-friendly format and at no cost to the public. 11
4040 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE 12
4141 This act shall take effect on July 1, 2025. 13
