Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to appropriate 9
$500,000.00 to the Department of Health for the purpose of establishing a 10
community health center pilot program that issues grants for the development 11
and provision of health and wellness programming and targeted services to 12
marginalized communities experiencing health disparities. It further proposes 13
to require the Department to seek and consider input from the Health Equity 14
Advisory Commission in the creation and administration of a community 15
health center pilot program. 16
