32-constitutes over 10 percent of Vermont’s workforce, and
33-Whereas, in 2023, 15.8 million people visited Vermont, contributing an estimated
34-$282.3 million in State and local taxes, and
35-Whereas, tourism and hospitality are among the largest industries in Vermont,
36-constituting over 30,000 jobs, and
37-Whereas, meaningful representation and inclusion ensure that Vermont is welcoming
38-to all, enabling everyone to experience the joy of visiting the State regardless of

48-Resolved: That the Secretary of State be directed to send a copy of this resolution to
49-the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Ski Vermont, and the Department of Tourism and
50-Marketing.
