Whereas,eachautumn,highschoolboysandgirlswhoaregolfing
enthusiastscompeteforindividualandteamStatechampionshiplaurels,and
Whereas,occasionally,astudentgolfermaybethesolememberoftheir
genderonthevarsitygolfteam,requiringthemtocompeteonasolobasis,
and,undoubtedly,themostnotableoftheseindividualgolfersoflateisMount
MansfieldUnionHighSchool(MMU)seniorNamoSeibert,and
Whereas,beginningasaninthgrader,NamoSeiberthasexhibited
enormousconfidenceandskill,whethercarefullyputtingtocompleteaholeor
maximizingherdriveformoredistanceonthecourse,and
Whereas,withtheencouragingsupportofMMUGolfCoachColin
O’Brien,NamoSeiberthasdevelopedherowntrainingroutinetoensuresheis
physicallyandmentallypreparedfortheannualstatewidecompetition,and
Whereas,herpresenceattheStatechampionshiphasbeentrulyremarkable,
asNamoSeibertfirstshockedhercompetitorswithaninth-gradevictoryasthe
girls’individualStatechampionandhasnowreconfirmedherwell-earned
statusasthepremierhighschoolgirls’golferinVermontbywinningthistitle
forfourconsecutiveyears,nowtherefore be it
