| 18 | 18 | | Current law defines “habitual truant” as a pupil who is absent from school without |

| 19 | 19 | | an acceptable excuse for part or all of five or more days during a school semester. The |

| 20 | 20 | | bill specifies that this information may not be used to evaluate a school's performance |
