232	232	SECTION 21. 71.76 (2) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:
233	233	71.76 (2) (b) In the case of any partnership adjustments, as defined under
234	234	section 6241 of the Internal Revenue Code and including adjustments under section
235	235	6225 of the Internal Revenue Code, the partnership may submit a request to the
236	236	department, in a manner prescribed by the department, within 60 days after the
237	237	final determination by the internal revenue service to amend the partnership
238	238	returns and pay tax on behalf of the partners at the highest tax rate computed under
239	239	s. 71.745 (1) (2) (a) for each reviewed year, as defined under section 6225 of the
240	240	Internal Revenue Code, to which such partnership adjustments relate. The
241	241	partnership and its partners shall report such changes or corrections to the
242	242	department within 180 days after the receipt of the notice of approval from the
243	243	department and shall concede the accuracy of such determination or state how the
244	244	determination is erroneous. The partnership and its partners shall report changes
245	245	and corrections as provided under par. (a) within 180 days after the receipt of the
246	246	notice of denial from the department. The partnership and its partners are not
247	247	required to report such changes or corrections unless the changes or corrections
248	248	affect the amount of net tax payable under this chapter, of a credit calculated under
