The bill specifies that JCF may supplement the appropriation in an amount up to $607,000 in each year of the 2023-25 biennium. The bill requires DATCP to submit to the appropriate legislative standing committees reports on how grant money provided to the Fenwood Creek pilot project has been spent and the pilot project’s results in reducing watershed phosphorus and sediment levels. DATCP is further directed to include a request for funding for this pilot project in its 2025-27 agency budget request. ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1 Assembly Amendment 1 changes the authorized supplemental appropriation amount from $607,000 to $300,000 in each year of the 2023-25 biennium.
