15 | 15 | | required to supply a standard first aid kit for use in an emergency. Also under |

16 | 16 | | current law, certain school personnel, including employees and volunteers of public |

17 | 17 | | and private schools, are permitted to administer an opioid antagonist on a person |
---|
18 | 18 | | who appears to be undergoing an opioid-related drug overdose. |

19 | 19 | | This bill adds that school boards and governing bodies of private schools are |
---|
20 | 20 | | required to ensure that each school maintain a usable supply of an opioid antagonist |
---|
21 | 21 | | on site, in a place that is accessible at all times. |

26 | 26 | | SECTION 1. 118.07 (1) of the statutes is renumbered 118.07 (1) (a). |

27 | 27 | | SECTION 2. 118.07 (1) (b) of the statutes is created to read: |
