AN ACT relating to: carry over of grants under the community-oriented
policing-house grant program.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill specifies that grant moneys under the community-oriented
policing-house grant program administered by the Department of Justice may be
carried over into the 2023-25 fiscal biennium so that the grant recipient may
complete projects that were initiated during the 2021-23 fiscal biennium.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SECTION 9127.0Nonstatutory provisions; Justice.
(1) COMMUNITY-ORIENTED POLICING-HOUSE GRANTS. Grant moneys under s.
165.989 may be carried over into the 2023-25 fiscal biennium for the completion of
projects under the grants that have been initiated on the effective date of this
subsection.
