2023 Assembly Bill 919 Assembly Amendment 1 
2023 ASSEMBLY BILL 919 
Assembly Bill 919 creates a $100,000 annual appropriation to the Department of Public Instruction 
(DPI) for payments to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Inc., to support the Nathan and Esther Pelz 
Holocaust Education Resource Center. 
ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1 
Assembly Amendment 1 increases the annual appropriation by $100,000 in each fiscal year, so that the 
appropriation is $200,000 in 2023-24 and $200,000 in 2024-25.

Assembly Amendment 1 was offered by Representative Plumer on January 17, 2024. On February 1, 
2024, the Assembly Committee on Education adopted the amendment and passed the bill, as amended,
