1111 AN ACT relating to: the veterans outreach and recovery program and making

1414 This bill provides an additional $272,300 in the 2023-24 fiscal year and
1515 $684,900 in the 2024-25 fiscal year to the veterans outreach and recovery program
1616 and increases the authorized positions to the Department of Veterans Affairs by 7.0
1717 SEG positions to provide increased services under the program. The veterans
1818 outreach and recovery program provides outreach, treatment and support to
1919 veterans who have a mental health condition or a substance use disorder.
2020 The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do

2222 SECTION 1.0Fiscal changes.
2323 (1) VETERANS OUTREACH AND RECOVERY PROGRAM. In the schedule under s. 20.005
2424 (3) for the appropriation to the department of veterans affairs under s. 20.485 (2) (qs),
2525 the dollar amount for fiscal year 2023-24 is increased by $272,300 to increase the
2626 authorized FTE positions to the department of veterans affairs by 7.0 SEG positions
