| 16 | 16 | | or electronic item with a value up to $350 and may possess any item that is medically |

| 17 | 17 | | prescribed. Under this bill, a prisoner or resident of a state correctional institution |

| 18 | 18 | | may not possess personal property with a value exceeding $150 or a musical |

| 19 | 19 | | instrument or electronic item with a value exceeding $350. Under the bill, there is |

| 20 | 20 | | no limit for items that are medically prescribed. |

| 21 | 21 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 1. 301.32 (1m) of the statutes is created to read: |
