| 19 | 19 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do |

| 20 | 20 | | enact as follows: |

| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 1. 20.935 of the statutes is created to read: |

| 22 | 22 | | 20.935 Native prairie and forage plants. (1) DEFINITION. In this section, |

| 23 | 23 | | “state agency" means an association, authority, board, department, commission, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | independent agency, institution, office, society, or other body in state government |

| 25 | 25 | | created or authorized to be created by the constitution or any law. |

| 26 | 26 | | (2) INITIATIVE. Each state agency, where appropriate, shall give preference to |
