| 13 | + | This bill provides that vehicle admission receipts issued by the Department of |

| 14 | + | Natural Resources are valid for approximately one year, rather than only during the |
|---|
| 15 | + | calendar year in which they were issued. |

| 16 | + | Under current law, no person may operate a vehicle in any state park or in |
|---|
| 17 | + | certain other recreational areas on state land unless the vehicle displays a vehicle |
|---|
| 18 | + | admission receipt. Current law requires DNR to issue an annual vehicle admission |
|---|
| 19 | + | receipt that is valid for the calendar year for which it is issued. Under the bill, |
|---|
| 20 | + | beginning in 2025, DNR must design the annual vehicle admission receipt to display |
|---|
| 21 | + | each month of the year in a manner that allows the department to indicate the month |
|---|
| 22 | + | in which the receipt is issued. The bill provides that a vehicle admission receipt is |
