8	8	AN ACT to create 20.505 (1) (au) and 20.505 (1) (av) of the statutes; relating to:
9	9	funding for improvement of baseball park facilities and making an
10	10	appropriation.

12	12	This bill provides a total of $411,500,000 in funding from the 2023-24 fiscal
13	13	year to the 2045-46 fiscal year for the Department of Administration to make
14	14	payments under a grant awarded to a local professional baseball park district for the
15	15	purpose of assisting in the development, construction, improvement, repair, and
16	16	maintenance of baseball park facilities. The bill separately provides a total of
17	17	$50,000,000 in funding for short-term loans awarded by DOA to a local professional
18	18	baseball park district for that purpose.

20	20	an appendix to this bill.
21	21	The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
22	22	enact as follows:
23	23	SECTION 1. 20.505 (1) (au) of the statutes is created to read:
24	24	20.505 (1) (au) Grant to local professional baseball park district. A sum
25	25	sufficient for payments to a local professional baseball park district under s. 16.09

34	34	(3) to assist in the development, construction, improvement, repair , and
35	35	maintenance of baseball park facilities, not to exceed the following:
36	36	1. In fiscal year 2023-24, $60,800,000.
37	37	2. In fiscal year 2024-25, $13,400,000.
38	38	3. In fiscal year 2025-26, $13,900,000.
39	39	4. In fiscal year 2026-27, $14,500,000.
40	40	5. In fiscal year 2027-28, $15,100,000.
41	41	6. In fiscal year 2028-29, $15,700,000.
42	42	7. In fiscal year 2029-30, $16,300,000.
43	43	8. In fiscal year 2030-31, $17,000,000.
44	44	9. In fiscal year 2031-32, $17,600,000.
45	45	10. In fiscal year 2032-33, $18,300,000.
46	46	11. In fiscal year 2033-34, $19,100,000.
47	47	12. In each fiscal year from 2034-35 to 2040-41, $20,000,000.

50	50	20.505 (1) (av) Loans to local professional baseball park district. A sum
51	51	sufficient for loans to a local professional baseball park district created under subch.
52	52	III of ch. 229 to assist in the development, construction, improvement, repair, and
53	53	maintenance of baseball park facilities, as defined in s. 229.65 (1), not to exceed
54	54	$50,000,000 in the aggregate.
