| 17 | 17 | | campaign committee. Current law authorizes these entities to make contributions |

| 18 | 18 | | to a segregated fund of up to $12,000 in the aggregate in a calendar year. Current |

| 19 | 19 | | law specifies that a segregated fund is a fund established by a political party or |

| 20 | 20 | | legislative campaign committee for purposes other than making contributions to a |

| 21 | 21 | | candidate committee or making disbursements for express advocacy. |
