| 15 | 15 | | evidence of traffic accidents and other violations of the law. Evidence captured by |

| 16 | 16 | | a camera authorized under the bill may be accessed only by a law enforcement agency |

| 17 | 17 | | and only if a police report is filed in connection with a traffic accident or other |

| 18 | 18 | | violation. Evidence captured by a camera authorized under the bill may not |

| 19 | 19 | | otherwise be used to determine compliance with any state law or local ordinance. |

| 20 | 20 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do |

| 23 | 23 | | 349.238 Authority to install cameras in work zones. (1) A political |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | subdivision may install and maintain cameras where persons are engaged in work |

| 25 | 25 | | in a highway maintenance or construction area for the purpose of capturing video or |

| 26 | 26 | | photographic evidence of traffic accidents and other violations of the law. |
