AN ACT to repeal 66.1010 of the statutes; relating to: repealing the prohibition against local governments enacting or enforcing an eviction moratorium on a landlord. Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau Under current law, no city, village, town, or county may enact or enforce an ordinance that imposes a moratorium on a landlord from pursuing an eviction action against a tenant of the landlord's residential or commercial property. This bill repeals that provision. For further information see the local fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill.
