| 15 | 15 | | that is hazardous to the health or safety of the tenant, the tenant is entitled to abate |

| 16 | 16 | | rent to the extent that the tenant is deprived of the full normal use of the leased |

| 17 | 17 | | property. This bill requires the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer |

| 18 | 18 | | Protection to promulgate rules that specify items for which a tenant may be entitled |

| 19 | 19 | | to rent abatement and the amount of abatement a tenant would be entitled to for each |

| 20 | 20 | | item. |
