| 11 | 11 | | Under current law, a licensed chiropractor may, under certain circumstances, |

| 12 | 12 | | delegate to chiropractic technicians or certain other health care professionals the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | performance of services that are preparatory or complementary to the practice of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | chiropractic, including taking and preparing preliminary patient histories or |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | providing physiotherapy treatment. This bill allows licensed chiropractors to |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | delegate the performance of these services to individuals who have completed a |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | training program for medical assistants accredited by the National Commission for |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Certifying Agencies, a national or state medical association, or another entity |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | approved by the Chiropractic Examining Board. |

| 20 | 20 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | enact as follows: |

| 22 | 22 | | SECTION 1. 446.02 (7) (a) 3. of the statutes is created to read: |
