2023 Senate Bill 964 Senate Amendment 1
2023 SENATE BILL 964
2023 Senate Bill 964 allows physical therapists to certify to the Department of Transportation that a
person has a disability that limits or impairs the ability to walk and is thus eligible for a disabled
parking plate or card.
SENATE AMENDMENT 1
Under Senate Amendment 1, the bill takes effect on the first day of the 10th month beginning after
publication.
BILL HISTORY
Senator Ballweg offered Senate Amendment 1 on January 29, 2024. On February 15, 2024, the Senate
Committee on Transportation and Local Government voted unanimously to recommend adoption of
Senate Amendment 1 and passage of Senate Bill 964, as amended.
