1010 Relating to: congratulating the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Women's
1111 Gymnastics team on winning the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association
1212 2023 National Championship.
1313 Whereas, on March 25, 2023, the UW-Oshkosh Titans Women's Gymnastics
1414 team posted a score of 192.525 at the National Championship competition at Winona
1515 State University, earning the program's sixth-overall championship, its fourth in
1616 the NCGA and its second-consecutive NCGA title; and
1717 Whereas, several UW-Oshkosh Gymnastics team members earned individual
1818 national awards and honors including freshman Reanna McGibboney, who led the
1919 Titans with two All-America awards in floor exercise and vault; sophomore Mia
2020 Lucero, who earned an All-America medal in vault; senior Trinity Sawyer, who
2121 earned an All-America medal in uneven bars; freshman Lydia Hayden, who earned
2222 an All-America medal on balance beam; and junior Emily Buffington, whose
2323 all-around performance and scores earned her an All-America medal; and

4141 Whereas, seniors Adana Amor, Haley Volstad, and Kennedy Springer were all
4242 named NCGA Academic All-Americans; and
4343 Whereas, the Titans' second-consecutive NCGA National Championship
4444 concludes a stellar regular season in which the team finished with a WIAC
4545 Championship/West Region record score of 193.100 and went 6-1 in WIAC
4646 conference duals this season; and
4747 Whereas, this season marked the third-consecutive UW-Oshkosh Gymnastics
4848 season ending in a WIAC championship; now, therefore, be it
4949 Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
5050 Wisconsin Legislature congratulate the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Women's
5151 Gymnastics team on their outstanding achievement and accomplishments.
