| 17 | 17 | | of appeals, effective beginning August 1, 2026. Under the bill, as of August 1, 2026, |

| 18 | 18 | | each of the districts of the court of appeals would have four judges. The bill provides |

| 19 | 19 | | that the initial election for the fourth judge for district III of the court of appeals |

| 20 | 20 | | will be held at the spring election of 2026 for a term beginning on August 1, 2026, |

| 21 | 21 | | and ending on July 31, 2032. |

| 22 | 22 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do |

| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 1. 752.03 of the statutes is amended to read: |
