| 14 | 14 | | between the ages of 20 to 49 years; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Whereas, Endosalpingiosis is characterized by the presence of tubal |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | epithelium outside of the fallopian tube; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Whereas, the prevalence of Endosalpingiosis is difficult to establish, since it is |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | diagnosed only through surgical biopsy; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Whereas, common symptoms of Endosalpingiosis include pelvic pain, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | infertility, menstrual irregularities, and dyspareunia, along with chronic back pain |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | being reported as a common issue years before diagnosis; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Whereas, some of the biggest issues that patients face are uncertainty about |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | how the condition develops and a lack of doctors who specialize in Endosalpingiosis; |

| 44 | 44 | | Whereas, nonprofit groups such as Endosalpingiosis Foundation are working |

| 45 | 45 | | tirelessly to provide a much-needed support system for those who have been |

| 46 | 46 | | diagnosed and to continue to raise awareness and funding for research; and |

| 47 | 47 | | Whereas, Endosalpingiosis Awareness Month gives Wisconsin residents the |
|---|
| 48 | 48 | | opportunity to learn more about this condition and increase the resources and |
|---|
| 49 | 49 | | support available; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 50 | 50 | | Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the month of |
|---|
| 51 | 51 | | March shall be designated as Endosalpingiosis Awareness Month. |
