A BILL to amend and reenact ยง5B-2E-11 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, extending and revising the sunset provision to December 31, 2030; and correcting titles of affected divisions.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
## ARTICLE 2E. WEST VIRGINIA TOURISM DEVELOPMENT ACT.\
The development office Division of Economic Development may not accept any new project application after December 31, 2025 December 31, 2030, and all applications submitted prior to January 1, 2026 January 1, 2031, that have not been previously approved or not approved, shall be deemed not approved and shall be null and void as of January 1, 2026 January 1, 2031.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to extend and revise the sunset provision in the Tourism Development Act to December 31, 2030.
