1 AN ACT relating to highways; designating the Loren "Teense"
2 Willford Memorial Highway; authorizing the department of
3 transportation to provide appropriate signage; providing an
4 appropriation; and providing for an effective date.

8. W.S. 24-1-139 is created to read:

12 State highway 230 between the intersection of state highway
13 130 and state highway 230 and the town boundary of
14 Riverside, Wyoming shall be known as the "Loren 'Teense'
15 Willford Memorial Highway." The department of 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-04692HB0044
1 transportation shall install appropriate signage, in
2 compliance with applicable federal and state law, to
3 identify the Loren "Teense" Willford Memorial Highway.

5There is appropriated three thousand
6 dollars ($3,000.00) from the general fund to the department
7 of transportation for purposes of installing the signage
8 required by this act. This appropriation shall be for the
9 period beginning with the effective date of this act and
10 ending June 30, 2026. This appropriation shall not be
11 transferred or expended for any other purpose and any
12 unexpended, unobligated funds remaining from this
13 appropriation shall revert as provided by law on June 30,
14 2026. It is the intent of the legislature that this
15 appropriation not be included in the department of
16 transportation's standard budget for the immediately
17 succeeding fiscal biennium.
