A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to administration of the government;
2 authorizing the office of homeland security to access
3 criminal identification and intelligence information as
4 specified; and providing for an effective date.

8. W.S. 9-1-627(c) is amended to read:

14 (c) Access to criminal identification and
15 intelligence information is available to law enforcement
16 agencies, the state board of parole and department of 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-01232HB0050
1 corrections as provided by W.S. 7-13-401 through 7-13-411,

3 any agency designated for the purpose
4 provided by W.S. 14-6-227 and the department of family
5 services. Each agency which has that information shall take
6 reasonable security precautions to prevent unauthorized
7 persons from gaining access to it in accordance with rules
8 and procedures established by the division. The rules and
9 procedures may be varied between agencies, depending upon
10 the division's determination of the agency's use of the
11 criminal identification and intelligence information and
12 the adequacy of the agency's security of the information
13 provided by the division under this section.
