2121 13 (a) For probate matters filed or commenced, the clerk
2222 14 of the district court shall collect fees as follows:

3232 10 The clerk of the supreme court shall collect the following
3333 11 fees from the plaintiff in error or appellant, or in case
3434 12 of an original proceeding the plaintiff or relator shall,
3535 13 at the time of filing the petition in error or record on
3636 14 appeal or when commencing the cause in this court, the sum
3737 15 of seventy-five dollars ($75.00). At the time of filing,
3838 16 the clerk also shall collect a court automation fee in the
3939 17 amount of
4040 18 which shall be deposited into the judicial systems
4141 19 automation account established by W.S. 5-2-120, and an
4242 20 indigent civil legal services fee in the amount of ten
4343 21 dollars ($10.00) which shall be deposited into the indigent
4444 22 civil legal services account established by W.S. 5-2-121.

5151 6 (a) For all civil matters filed or commenced, the
5252 7 clerk of each district court shall charge the following
5353 8 fees:

5555 10 (i) For filing instruments or documents in each
5656 11 civil action and certifying one (1) copy of any order,
5757 12 decree or judgment at the time of its filing for each
5858 13 party, an original filing fee of

6060 15 shall be paid by the plaintiff. This fee shall apply to
6161 16 original actions commenced and to actions that are reopened
6262 17 after a final decree previously has been entered.

7676 10 (x) For docketing and in payment of clerk's fee

9191 3 (a) Each city or town in the state of Wyoming may
9292 4 prescribe by ordinance such costs in all trials before
9393 5 municipal courts as may be necessary or deemed expedient.
9494 6 However, the costs shall not exceed ten dollars ($10.00).
9595 7 All costs collected shall be turned into the treasury of
9696 8 the city or town. By ordinance a city or town may
9797 9 prescribe:

9999 11 (i) A court automation fee of

101101 13 every person guilty of a violation of a city or town

106106 18 For all civil matters the circuit court shall collect from
107107 19 the plaintiff an original filing fee of twenty dollars
108108 20 ($20.00), a court automation fee of
109109 21, and an indigent civil legal

113113 2 court automation fee shall be deposited into the judicial
114114 3 systems automation account and the indigent civil legal
115115 4 services fee shall be deposited into the indigent civil
116116 5 legal services account as provided by W.S. 5-9-144.

120120 9 The clerk of the chancery court shall collect all fees and
121121 10 charges as required and set by the supreme court under W.S.
122122 11 5-13-104(b). At the time of the original filing, the clerk
123123 12 also shall collect a court automation fee in the amount of

125125 14 which shall be deposited into the judicial
126126 15 systems automation account established by W.S. 5-2-120, and
127127 16 an indigent civil legal services fee in the amount of ten
128128 17 dollars ($10.00) which shall be deposited into the indigent
129129 18 civil legal services account established by W.S. 5-2-121.

135135 1 The court may impose a fine as part of the punishment for
136136 2 any felony. If the statute does not establish a maximum
137137 3 fine, the fine shall be not more than ten thousand dollars
138138 4 ($10,000.00). The court shall impose a court automation fee
139139 5 of in every
140140 6 criminal case wherein the defendant is found guilty, enters
141141 7 a plea of guilty or no contest or is placed on probation
142142 8 under W.S. 7-13-301. The fee shall be remitted as provided
143143 9 by W.S. 5-3-205. In addition to the court automation fee
144144 10 the court shall impose an indigent civil legal services fee
145145 11 of ten dollars ($10.00) in every criminal case wherein the
146146 12 defendant is found guilty, enters a plea of guilty or no
147147 13 contest or is placed on probation under W.S. 7-13-301 or
148148 14 35-7-1037. The indigent civil legal services fee shall be
149149 15 remitted as provided in W.S. 5-3-205(a)(ii).

155155 21 Unless a different penalty is prescribed by law, every
156156 22 crime declared to be a misdemeanor is punishable by
157157 23 imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six (6) 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-02868HB0055
158158 1 months, a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars
159159 2 ($750.00), or both. The court shall impose a court
160160 3 automation fee of
161161 4 in every criminal case wherein the defendant is
162162 5 found guilty, enters a plea of guilty or no contest or is
163163 6 placed on probation under W.S. 7-13-301. The fee shall be
164164 7 remitted as provided by W.S. 5-3-205. In addition to the
165165 8 court automation fee the court shall impose an indigent
166166 9 civil legal services fee of ten dollars ($10.00) in every
167167 10 criminal case wherein the defendant is found guilty, enters
168168 11 a plea of guilty or no contest or is placed on probation
169169 12 under W.S. 7-13-301. The indigent civil legal services fee
170170 13 shall be remitted as provided in W.S. 5-3-205(a)(ii).

172172 15. This act shall apply to all cases and
173173 16 appeals initially filed on and after July 1, 2025.
