for
1 AN ACT relating to crimes and offenses; amending the crimes
2 of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution to include
3 acts of sexual contact; providing definitions; and
4 providing for an effective date.

9 Except as provided in W.S. 6-2-701 through
10 6-2-710, a person who knowingly or intentionally performs
11 or permits, or offers or agrees to perform or permit an act
12 of sexual intrusion, as defined by W.S. 6-2-301(a)(vii),
13
14 for money or other property commits
15 prostitution which is a misdemeanor punishable by
16 imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, a fine of
17 not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), or
18 both.

1 Except as provided in W.S. 6-2-701 through 6-2-710, a
2 person is guilty of soliciting an act of prostitution if,
3 with the intent that an act of sexual intrusion as defined
4 by W.S. 6-2-301(a)(vii)
5 be committed, that person
6 knowingly or intentionally pays, or offers or agrees to pay
7 money or other property to another person under
8 circumstances strongly corroborative of the intention that
9 an act of prostitution be committed. Soliciting an act of
10 prostitution is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment
11 for not more than six (6) months, a fine of not more than
12 seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), or both.

14. This act is effective immediately upon
15 completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
16 as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
17 Constitution.
