24+11 paragraph (x) and by renumbering (x) as (xi) and 20-2-202
25+12 by creating a new subsection (b) are amended to read:

31+4 (a) In granting a divorce, separation or annulment of
32+5 a marriage or upon the establishment of paternity pursuant
33+6 to W.S. 14-2-401 through 14-2-907, the court may make by
34+7 decree or order any disposition of the children that
35+8 appears most expedient and in the best interests of the
36+9 children. In determining the best interests of the child,
37+10 the court shall consider, but is not limited to, the
38+11 following factors:

7-AN ACT relating to domestic relations; specifying a

11-the best interests of a child in custody determinations
12-upon divorce; and providing for an effective date.
13-Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:
14-Section 1. W.S. 20-2-201(a) by creating a new
15-paragraph (x) and by renumbering (x) as (xi) and 20-2-202
16-by creating a new subsection (b) are amended to read:
17-20-2-201. Disposition and maintenance of children in
18-decree or order; access to records.
19-(a) In granting a divorce, separation or annulment of
20-a marriage or upon the establishment of paternity pursuant
21-to W.S. 14-2-401 through 14-2-907, the court may make by
22-decree or order any disposition of the children that
23-appears most expedient and in the best interests of the
24-children. In determining the best interests of the child,
25-the court shall consider, but is not limited to, the
26-following factors:
27-(x) Whether either parent has a conviction for
28-which the parent must register as a sex offender under W.S.
29-7-19-301 through 7-19-310;
30-(x)(xi) Any other factors the court deems
31-necessary and relevant.

37-2(b) When considering an order for visitation, there
38-shall be a rebuttable presumption that it is not in the
39-best interests of a child to grant unsupervised visitation
40-to a parent who is required to register as a sex offender
41-under W.S. 7-19-301 through 7-19-310.
42-Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon
43-completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
44-as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
45-Constitution.
