A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to education; allowing school districts and
2 charter schools to adopt policies to employ persons without
3 holding a certificate or permit issued by the Wyoming
4 professional teaching standards board; specifying
5 requirements for the adoption of policies; authorizing
6 school districts and charter schools to obtain criminal
7 histories and request fingerprinting; making conforming
8 amendments; and providing for an effective date.

20 (a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b),
21 (c), of this section, no person shall teach
22 or supervise in a public school in this state and receive

1 time of rendering such services is not a holder of or a
2 candidate and qualified for a certificate or permit issued
3 or to be issued under the laws of this state and the rules
4 and regulations of the Wyoming professional teaching
5 standards board pursuant to W.S. 21-2-802.
