7-AN ACT relating to counties; amending the length of time
8-for approval of a mill levy proposition for senior citizen
9-service districts; and providing for an effective date.
10-Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:
11-Section 1. W.S. 18-15-102(d) is amended to read:
12-18-15-102. Formation of district; mill levy.
13-(d) If the proposition to authorize a mill levy is
14-approved by the qualified electors of the proposed district
15-under subsection (c) of this section, the proposition to
16-impose a levy in the same or at a different amount not to
17-exceed two (2) mills, shall be submitted to the resident
18-electors within the proposed district at the first general
19-election held years after the election
20-authorizing the district and every four (4) years
21-thereafter, until defeated. If the proposition to impose or
22-continue a mill levy is defeated, the proposition shall not
23-be submitted to the electors for a period of not less than
